13-Year-Old Student Charged After Making Threats

WOODSTOCK, Va. — On Friday, a middle school student was charged after threatening to harm others.
According to a media release from the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO), deputies responded to Peter Muhlenburg Middle School on March 7, 2025, for reports of threats.
The suspect, a 13-year-old Mauertown girl, was heard saying she was going to “shoot up the school.” The comment was reported to school officials and then to the SCSO.
The juvenile was charged with: 18.2-83: Threats to bomb or damage buildings or means of transportation; false information as to danger to such buildings, etc.
